Closing Events of the Master of Global Health Programme

Students who participated in the first ISGlobal-University of Barcelona Master of Global Health defend their final theses before a expert panel

The first edition of the new Master of Global Health—one of the first graduate programmes in Spain dealing with health from a global and multidisciplinary perspective—concluded on 13 and 14 June with the students' defense of their final theses.

The work of each student has been supervised throughout the academic year by a tutor, and the theses presented covered a wide variety of topics.

The ISGlobal-University of Barcelona Master of Global Health program has inherited the legacy of the former Master in Tropical Medicine and International Health, a reference point of excellence in Spain for many years. Pre-enrolment for the second edition of this program is now open; details can be found on the ISGlobal website.

On Monday 17 June 2013 Dr. Núria Casamitjana, training and education director at ISGlobal will present the postgraduate programmes in the field of health organised by ISGlobal and the University of Barcelona for 2013-2014.
