Marianna Karachaliou

Investigadora postdoctoral Medio ambiente y salud a lo largo de la vida

Marianna Karachaliou, MD, PhD is a postdoctoral researcher in epidemiology in ISGlobal in Dr Kogevinas group and member of the research group of the Rhea birth cohort in Crete. She is a paediatrician and epidemiologist and has specialised in epidemiology of infectious diseases and has extensive experience in links between infections and NCDs in children. She joined ISGlobal in 2020 as a postdoctoral researcher in a La Marato de TV3 funded project on the acquisition of infections in early life and association with health outcomes. She actively participates in the planning and analysis of data of the COVICAT study on Covid-19 in Catalonia.
