Carlos Fernández-Escobar is a Medical Research Fellow at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health, ISGlobal in Barcelona, Spain, within the Tuberculosis Research Group. He trained as a physician at the University of Castile-La Mancha (UCLM) in Spain and completed his residency in Preventive Medicine and Public Health at Healthcare Institute Carlos III, Madrid. He has worked as public health researcher at the University of Alcalá (UAH), Spain, and the Spanish National Center of Epidemiology (CNE), and as biostatistician and scientific advisor at Medical Statistics Consulting (MS-C).
