Clara has a bachelor's degree in Biology from the UAB. She did an internship in the Life Science department of the Imperial College of London, in Dr Gilestro's lab. Afterwards she pursued her master's degree in Human Biology at the University of Copenhagen, where she did her thesis on Structural Biology in the Molecular Pharmacology lab. After completing her studies, she joined the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL), where she managed the institutional databases and the Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) initiatives. She later joined the Cancer Epidemiology Research Programme at the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO) as a Project Manager. At ICO she was responsible of the coordination of the International Papillomavirus Conference 2020 as well as of several research projects.

Lastly she worked as a Project Manager in Savana, a start-up company that developed an Artificial Intelligence technology to perform Real World Evidence trials based on electronic records of clinical data.

She is currently joining ISGlobal as a Project Manager for the GOLIAT project (to investigate potential health effects of exposure to 5G) and for the European Urban Burden of Disease Project.
