Nuria Güil-Oumrait joined ISGlobal in 2020 as a predoctoral researcher in environmental epidemiology under the supervision of Prof. Martine Vrijheid.

She earned her bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain) and completed her master's degree in Global Health at Karolinska Institutet (Stockholm, Sweden).

Currently, she is pursuing a Fulbright Fellowship at the Department of Environmental Medicine and Public Health at Icahn Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New York, USA), where she is exploring novel computational techniques to assess the impact of early-life exposure to environmental chemicals on childhood obesity and cardiometabolic health in European birth cohort studies.

Líneas de investigación

  • Endocrine disruptors chemicals (perfluorinated compounds, metals, phthalates, phenols, pesticides)
  • Childhood obesity and cardiometabolic health
  • Exposure-mixture analysis
  • Exposome
  • Metabolomics and proteomics
