Nerea Moreno is a researcher with expertise in mental health, epidemiology and biology. She holds a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Barcelona, during which she completed her thesis at the School of Mental Health and Neuroscience of Maastricht University in the Netherlands. She later obtained a Master's degree in Initiation to Research in Mental Health, coordinated by the University of Cantabria.

Nerea has three years of research experience in mental health, epidemiology and genetics at the University of Barcelona. During this time, she contributed to multidisciplinary studies on critical public health issues. In addition to her research work, she has applied her analytical and creative skills to schematic design projects in the scientific and healthcare sectors.

Currently, Nerea is a PhD candidate at ISGlobal, working on the YEAH! Project under the supervision of Dr Payam Dadvand and Dr Carmen Peuters. Her work combines advanced epidemiological methods with environmental health research, with the aim of generating impactful evidence to improve population health.
