Nuria Matilla

Nuria Matilla

Postdoctoral Fellow Environment and Health over the Lifecourse

Nuria holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, a Master's in Public Health, and a PhD in Health Sciences. Her research focuses on the digitalization of the labor market, precarious employment and its health effects. She was awarded a Junior Leader Fellowship from Fundació La Caixa to study how algorithmic management influences the mental health of workers in Spain. Nuria is also affiliated with Karolinska Institutet, where she leads two projects involving Sweden and other European countries, investigating the impact of digital platform work (gig work) on occupational safety and health.
