Aslihan Cakmak is a researcher and physiotherapist with a particular interest in physical activity, exercise testing, and chronic respiratory diseases. She holds a BSc degree in physiotherapy and rehabilitation from Suleyman Demirel University, Isparta, Turkey. She is a researcher at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey, the institution where she pursued her Master's degree and PhD in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.

Currently, Aslihan Cakmak is a visiting researcher at ISGlobal and her work is focused on developing algorithms to predict minute ventilation in individuals with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and estimating inhaled dose of air pollutants.
