Andrea Herranz

Research Technician

Andrea Herranz has a Degree in Biochemistry from the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB), and a Master in Advanced Immunology from the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). She did her final master's thesis in the IBB (Institut de Biotecnologia i Biomedicina) cell immunology laboratory.

She has worked as a research technician in the Sleep Apnea and Hypopnea group at IdISBa (Institut d’Investigació Sanitària de les Illes Balears).

Currently, she is part of the group of Professor J.V. Lazarus, Health Systems Research Group. She is a PhD student (Medicine and Translational Research) at ISGlobal, University of Barcelona, currently focusing on hepatitis C virus infection and PWUD population. Is the coordinator of the HCV Free Baleares project.
