Ángela Zumel Marne completed her degree in Environmental Sciences at the University of Huelva (Spain) and has a Master in Medical research: clinical and experimental at the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Seville (Spain). Her master thesis was related to Exposure to heavy metals and prostate cancer. Now she is working in the MobiKids study and doing her PhD of Biomedicine at the UPF supervised by Prof. Elisabeth Cardis (ISGlobal) and Dr. Juan Alguacil (University of Huelva), about "Risk of brain tumors in young people and environmental risk factors".

She started working at CREAL-ISGlobal in 2010 as Research Technician in the international Mobi-Kids study, being the field work coordinator and interviewer of Andalusia. Also she collaborated as fieldwork coordinator, interviewer and laboratory technician of Cadis and Seville in the MCC-Spain study until September of 2015, date when she moved fiscally to ISGlobal for continues working in MobiKids study and for doing her PhD.
