Edson Mambuque is a biomedical researcher with a Master's degree in Medical Microbiology. He has participated in several research projects and clinical trials. He is currently coordinating the TB laboratory (biosafety level 3) at the CISM. His interests include the evaluation of new diagnostic tools for TB and NTM diagnosis, as well as the identification of biomarkers that can be used/applied to diagnose prognosis, detect disease progression and/or indicate treatment improvement.
