Our Team

Since 2009 Silvia Noguer has been advisor to the International Area of the "la Caixa" Foundation, specifically in the area of Global Health and strategic planning activities.

Between 2011 and 2014 she was an international consultant for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. Since 2014, she has been an advisor to “la Caixa” Malaria Programme, a pilot project to eliminate malaria in South Mozambique coordinated by the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal). She works to identify synergies in the work of the “la Caixa” Foundation and ISGlobal, and provides support to the President of ISGlobal.

Prior to that, from 2001, she was the deputy director of the Social Department of the “la Caixa” Foundation, and the person in charge of International Cooperation programme. She also played an active role in the team that developed and set up ISGlobal.

In 2015 she helped to set up the Glòria Soler Foundation, a private charitable foundation that she has headed since then.

She has a degree in Law and Master in International Studies from the University of Barcelona, and has completed programs in Leadership and Social Innovation and a post-graduate in Management of non-profit organizations.
