Miquel Vázquez

Biostatistician

Miquel Vàzquez-Santiago graduated in Biology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in 2008. He obtained his Ph.D. in Cell Biology (UAB) in 2017 at the Unitat d'Hemostàsia i Trombosis (IR-Sant Pau) under the supervision of Dr Juan Carlos Souto Andrés and Dr Núria Pujol-Moix. His research focused on primary haemostasis and its association with venous thrombosis. He holds a postgraduate degree in Advanced Methods of Applied Statistics from the Universitat Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). In November 2018, he joined ISGlobal as a biostatistician in the Malaria Immunology Group of Dr Carlota Dobaño Lázaro.

In January 2025, he rejoined ISGlobal as Biostatistician and Data Manager at the Biostatistics and Data Management Unit of Sergi Sanz.
