Leadership Council

The Leadership Council (LC) is the strategic body responsible for setting up the institutional strategy, fostering innovation and impact, and ensuring that decisions are aligned with the institutional strategy. Its focus is on building a forward-looking vision that supports scientific excellence and societal impact, and contributes to the overall strategic steering. The LC is composed by the Director General (LC Chair) Scientific Director (LC vice-Chair), General Manager, Severo Ochoa Scientific Director, Translation and Impact Director, Education and Training Director, Innovation Director, the Chair of the People Development Commission-HRS4R, the Head of the Projects Unit, and up to 10 leading researchers reflecting the variety of ISGlobal research disciplines and approaches.
