To reduce global CO2 emissions, the transport sector poses a growing challenge. In the context of advancing urbanisation in developing countries and emerging economies, not only is the energy consumption and CO2 emissions of urban transport rising rapidly but the pressure on public health is also growing.

This event is designed for panel discussions with policy makers, city representatives, industry experts and researchers to discuss clean transport adoption in cities as part of climate mitigation and public health. Different modes of transport designed by renewable energy will be discussed and several regions (Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America) will showcase best practice examples.
