WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
ISGlobal is seeking a Research Assistant who is interested in taking over and managing activities of the project “Healthcare system strengthening for cardiovascular disease management (including Chagas) in the Gran Chaco region of Tarija, Bolivia”, also known as CAYAC for Cardiovascular Yacuiba. The overall project goal is to strengthen the health system in the Gran Chaco region of Bolivia, which most populated city is Yacuiba, in terms of the flows of reference and counter-reference of patients affected by cardiovascular diseases including Chagas disease, a major risk factor for cardiac damage in the area.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
The main responsibilities will be to assist the Project Coordination with the overall management of the project, including the generation of protocols and clinical guidelines, the drafting of scientific manuscripts, and the interaction with the funder in relation to the justification and reporting of advances.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Project management.
- Scientific writing.
- Drafting of laboratory protocols, and assist to the development of clinical guidelines.
- Data management and analysis.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate and Master degree in Life Sciences.
- Experience working in Latin America.
- Good publications record.

- Duration: 6 months

- Contract: part time. 30h
- Salary Range: Predoc -categoria A (27.199€ gross annual)

SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.
If needed any technical test could be pass. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process.
