CRESIB and CREAL rank on top of scientific performance indicators in Catalonia and Spain

CRESIB and CREAL, the ISGlobal research centers, rank on top of scientific performance indicators in Catalonia and Spain, according to the last Scimago Report. Both centers are within the ten top Spanish research centers and institutions regarding scientific impact in health sector, measured through the normalized impact factor. Worthy to mention, that from a total of 243 Spanish centers included in the report, CREAL and CRESIB are placed at the 11th and 13th positions regarding international collaboration (1st and 2nd positions within health sector).

3. Centro de Regulación Genómica (CRG)
4. Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares (CNIC)
5. Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red de Enfermedades Respiratorias (CIBERER)
6. Centro de Investigación en Salud Internacional de Barcelona (CRESIB)
7. Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red de Enfermedades Hepáticas y Digestivas (CIBEREHD)
8. Institut d'Investigacions Biomediques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS)
9. Institut Hospital del Mar d'Investigacions Mèdiques (IMIM)
10. Institut d'Investigació Biomèdica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL)

Regarding Excellence, defined as the amount (in %) of an institution's scientific output that is included into the set of the 10% of the most cited papers in their respective scientific fields, CREAL and CRESIB ranks the third and twelfth positions among all the research centers in Spain.
