APHEKOM project objective is to develop and deliver information based on the latest scientific evidence in a way that is most useful to all components of society: the people in charge of making decisions, who will be able to select the most efficient policies health professionals, who will be able to make better recommendations to the groups of individuals most vulnerable to air pollution and the whole of society, which will have better information to select their own lifestyles.

The project, which involves several cities in Europe, will develop health impact indicators and will quantify the costs for society of high values of air pollution.
