Pre-enrolment for the ISGlobal-University of Barcelona Master of Global Health is Open

The second edition of the ISGlobal - University of Barcelona Master of Global Health, which begins in September 2013, is now open for pre-enrolment. The Master's programme prepares candidates to work in the field of health from a global and transdisciplinary perspective and consists of 60 ECTS credits, equivalent to one academic year of study. The first of the three programme modules may also be taken independently as a postgraduate Diploma of Global Health Fundamentals (30 ECTS credits). The Diploma is also open for pre-enrolment.

Interested candidates can pre-enrol for the Master's degree or the postgraduate Diploma by sending the following documentation to formacion@isglobal.org with the subject line "Pre-enrolment [Master / Diploma] of Global Health [full name of applicant]":

• A detailed C.V.
• A letter of motivation
• Two letters of recommendation (either professional or academic)

The Master of Global Health programme is the result of a collaboration between ISGlobal, the University of Barcelona and other leading health organisations including Doctors Without Borders, Intermón Oxfam and CREAL. The Diploma of Global Health Fundamentals is accredited as a core course by the network for education in international health, tropEd. Both programmes are directed by Dr. Núria Casamitjana and Dr. Edward B. Hayes.

Courses for the Master's degree  and the postgraduate Diploma take place at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Barcelona. They are full-time programmes. The Master runs from September to June and the Diploma from September to January.
