The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is organising the International Partnership Forum on 28 November 2023 at the CosmoCaixa Barcelona. The aim of this event is to foster conversations on pressing issues in Global Health between diverse stakeholders. Another goal is to showcase the institution's forthcoming strategy, with the purpose of gathering insights from the participants.
The global health context is more complex than ever today. We are just beginning to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, and now, we are confronted with multiple complex crises while also striving for a more equitable distribution of power among international players. Simultaneously, we are witnessing groundbreaking scientific advancements amid a decline in public trust in scientific evidence. In this intricate scenario, strong partnerships between stakeholders are essential. Despite differences in origin, composition, structure, or resources, they all share a common goal: to enhance global health for the benefit of everyone.
During this forum, participants will be encouraged to present their novel ideas and creative solutions, aiming to drive innovation and cooperation in an ever-changing environment. We work towards creating spaces for knowledge exchange, fostering the building of lasting and meaningful relationships that transcend borders and differences.
