Ferran Arqué graduated from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), where he earned a BSc in Mathematics and an MSc in Advanced Mathematics and Mathematical Engineering. His main interests lie in the fields of data science and computational methods, particularly in their application to biomedical imaging.

He has research experience in computational neuroscience from his Bachelor's and Master's thesis work, as well as in computational optimal transport from an internship at the Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial (CSIC-UPC).

He is currently a Data Scientist at ZeCardio Therapeutics, where he works on cardiomyopathy research, utilizing zebrafish models for drug and target discovery. Additionally, he is pursuing an industrial PhD in Biomedicine at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in collaboration with ZeCardio and ISGlobal. His research focuses on combining zebrafish models and artificial intelligence to identify biomarkers and develop therapeutic strategies for cardiomyopathies.
