Elizabeth de Jesús Posada Diago has a degree in Social Anthropology (Universidad del Cauca, Colombia), a Master in Water Resources (Universidad de San Carlos Guatemala, Guatemala) and a Master in International Cooperation (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain).

She has worked as an anthropologist with MSF and Action Against Hunger in Colombia and Guatemala conducting community work and operational research for humanitarian programmes. In Morocco, Elizabeth Posada worked as a research assistant with Fundació Clinic per a la Recerca Biomedica participating in epidemiological studies on maternal and child mortality.

During the last fifteen years, she has worked at the International Health Service of the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona / ISGlobal (Spain) with migrant populations in Latin America and Spain, supporting programmes aimed at improving access to healthcare, social assistance, and integration processes of Latin American migrants. From 2018 to 2023, Elizabeth coordinates the implementation of the different projects in Bolivia and Paraguay.

She works as a research assistant supporting epidemiological and social research on Chagas disease and people-centred care initiatives.
