WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

In the framework of our Centre for Excellence Severo Ochoa Programme (CEX2023-001290-S), ISGlobal is seeking an experienced data manager to develop, implement and manage a FAIR cohort data platform that will contain longitudinal cohort databases with exposome-related data. ISGlobal cohorts have built and are building important infrastructures, related to exposome research over the life-course (for example longitudinal mother-child cohorts). As part of the Severo Ochoa Programme, we aim to implement a new cohort data platform to provide ISGlobal faculty and external collaborators with easy access to integrated data on environmental risk factors, multi-omics data, IDs and NCDs, so as to spearhead new projects. This platform will integrate data from several important existing cohorts that are coordinated by ISGlobal and build a data infrastructure that is both FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable), and suitable for big data analysis.
The data manager will help in the design of this platform, implement the platform, and maintain key databases that form part of the platform, as well as providing datasets for analysis as required by ISGlobal faculty and collaborators.

This position will be supported by funding from the “Centro de Excelencia Severo Ochoa 2024-2028” Program (CEX 2023-0001290-S) from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, and the Spanish Research State Agency (MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033).
