The European Global Health Research Institutes Network (EGHRIN) is organizing its first Seminar under the title “Pandemic preparedness: A whole-of-society approach” on Wednesday, March 15 from 15h to 16h CET. The objective of the Seminar is to address pandemic preparedness from a multidisciplinary approach, including societal aspects not so often considered in the traditional debates about preparedness.

EGHRIN is a network of leading research institutions in Europe to promote and advocate for Global Health research and innovation. EGHRIN aims to facilitate and strengthen equitable collaboration among the network’s institutes and their global partners on high quality research and provides knowledge insights that can inform improvements in health policies and systems, including the development of cost-effective innovations for long-term sustainability of health care and prevention worldwide. EGHRIN has a special focus on strengthening global health research infrastructures in order to increase our knowledge base to improve people’s health.

She is also a member of the EGHRIN Executive Board.
